I love summer! Being with my small children (4 under age 9), reminds me to appreciate the innocence of the fun of summer. That being said, I want to admit that it really is hard to be consistent with my workouts and eating plan.
I’m blessed to be a full time mom, but I’m finding it hard to get up as early as I do during the school year (around 5 a.m.), to get as much accomplished with my weight training and cardio, before my little kids get up. I don’t know about your kids, but no matter if you let my kids stay up late, the two older get up around 6:30 a.m..
The other issue I’m dealing with is food. Summer ice cream, cookies, burgers and chips are just a few of the plethora of temptations foods, I have to address foods. It’s so hard to refuse. I do better some days than others.
The point if discussing these issues is to show everyone that we all face issues about weight, time and motivation with our good health and healthy eating and workout. You just do the best you can.
