Today was a rough day for me. It ended up being 97 degrees on the first day of fall! In the PM I had a sub because I had a training and although the air conditioning was on it just wasn't cutting it - my fingers and toes began to swell with every moment I sat there. Now, I know I'm unnaturally hot with this pregnancy, but "normal" people were complaining about how hot the room was. So, if they were hot; I was really hot! After leaving the training just the walk to the car from it being so hot had me feeling extremely nauseous and uncomfortable. To make matters worse, we had an open house until 8 and the building was like a sauna. I could hardly stand it - I haven't swelled much but my body just can't take it on extremely warm days. I didn't end up getting home until 9 and when I had left the house at 7 this morning it just made for a really long day. I am counting down the days until delivery and imagining what it will feel like to not feel so miserable all the time.
THURSDAY
Breakfast -
3/4 cup of Bran Flakes with 1/4 cup organic raisins
1 cup fat-free organic milk
Lunch -
2 slices whole wheat bread, lettuce, tomato, and approximately 3 oz. turkey
Fat-free yogurt
Snack -
Apple
Dinner -
DINED OUT
Salad (iceberg lettuce, tomato, green onion, egg, mozzarella, 2 oz. grilled chicken, croutons) light ranch
Small sweet potato no butter
Snack -
1/8 slice of fat-free angel food cake
