Many medicines affect men and woman differently, though the directions do not discern gender dosage on the package.
Men’s bodies are different than women’s. Percentage of body fat is higher in women and we have slower metabolism. It stands to reason then, that medicines would be processed differently, at different dosages between the two sexes.
Check in with your trusted pharmacist and ask them about taking over-the-counter medications that may be affected by your gender, age, weight, present medical conditions or any other medications that you presently take and how the over-the-counter drug will interact with them.
